Ah yes, eBay !
About a month ago, a 409 aluminum water pump sold for some $6000.00.

The other day, a couple custom made used aluminum Ford flathead V8 water pumps sold for $588.00.

I was at an all Ford swap meet one time and bought a box of GM carbs from a guy for $40.00. He could'nt find out what they fit becuase he was trying to look up a GM part # in a Ford reference book. I checked them in a an old Holley book and found out they were for Vette's, Camaro's and Chevelles, all high performance stuff. I made a sizable profit on e-bay. Wish I could find more deals like that!!! Patrick.

Unhappy

For a radiator cap, when is going to end?

My dad and I have an original 344 '71 Convertiable, numbers matching etc......(Cal blue plate etc) What is this worth based on this insanity!

This is just nuts (wasn't that saying when the US ARMY surrendered to the Germans at Battle of the Buldge in WW2).

It is getting out of hand to run our cars in Stock/Super Stock

Eric my boy,
The US ARMY did NOT surrender to the Germans! I hope the ghost of General Patton is nice to you tonight..

"On December 22 German officers under the flag of truce delivered a message from General der Panzertruppe von Luttwitz Commander of XLVII Panzerhops, demanding the surrender of Bastogne. After receiving the message Brigadier General Mcauliffe exclaimed "Aw, nuts" which was his official reply to the request for surrender. This message was delivered by Joseph Harper to the Germans. He told the Germans it meant they could all go to Hell. With that they parted and the siege continued."

"The Americans at Bastogne were relieved when the VII Corps moved down and enlarged the U. S. line. This allowed Patton's Third Army to counterattack the Germans surrounding Bastogne. The Third Army was then able to push the Germans past the border of Bastogne."

I don't think Hitler would even pay $3000 for a crummy old QJet!

It isn't like those parts are new old stock or one of a kind. At those prices you could buy a nice restored car and part it out to make money.
